Join the Fun of Ravelry.com

There are over 3,000 members worldwide of an internet group called ravelry.com.  There you can find out what's happening in the knit/crochet world and connect with others who share your interests.  One way to do this is by joining a group.  You can also get free patterns for everything you might ever dream of making -- plus look at how other people have interpreted the pattern and what they have to say about it.

To get a flavor, log on to ravelry.com.  You can search for anything you want, but to get your started, try these.  Under "people," search for knitwithjudy (or click on Judy's notebook) and anburd (or click on Ann's notebook).  There you can get a look at our projects and see how we are using our information.

Also, you can stop by the newly rejuventate group called New Paltz Area Knitters (or click on new-paltz-area-knitters).  You'll see that, among other things, we are in the planning stages for a NPAK (New Paltz Area Knitters) Fiber Fest, to be held on June 5.

You may need to sign in and create an account, but there is absolutely no charge, and you will NOT receive any spam or other messages from them.

Let me know if you have any trouble doing this, or if you have any questions about it.  And, if you do join, let us know the name you use so we can see what you're doing.
